Welcome to Kansai

21 July 2009 :: Welcome to Kansai

I got up to have breakfast on JAL. It's congee and cold noodle, with yogurt and fruits. I felt like I just slept for a short time since Japan's time is faster than Thailand about 2 hours. So, it's just 4.00 a.m. inThailand.

N'Big and I reached Kansai International Airport.
There was Japan Foundation staff waiting for us with a sign of Japan Foundation. We waited there for a while, then we moved to the bus with Laos and Cambodian friends. The rain had started since there.

We reached the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai. It's a place I'll live for 7 months. Everyone looks very nice. Ohaiyoo in the morning was a greeting from everyone there. I got the documents, temperature checking tool, and ID card. I entered my room and called by to Thailand.

Then, I walked to the cafeteria with N'Big.
My first lunch here was Pork/Beef Curry Rice
and salad. Inside the institute,
we can use our ID card to buy lunch and dinner.

In the afternoon, after I requested to use the internet inside my room, I took a bus with N'Big to Rinku Town. Because it's Japan Foundation bus, it's free of charge. We went to 100 Yen shop, named Seria, to buy some necessary things.
