Osaka Orienteering

29-Jul-2009 :: Osaka Orienteering

It was time to practice and explore.. the Osaka. The student was separated into 3 groups. Mine was i(い) group. Our area was Osaka Castle (おおさかじょう). Our tasks were going to Osaka Castle, looking for しゃちほこ and taking a photo of it,
finding s'th attractive, unbelievable, useful, convenient, or surprising to share with others, finally, maing a presentation about our tour.First we took a bus to Rinku Town. We walked to Rinku Town station. We used a Nankai line from this station to Namba Station (なんば). When we reached Namba, we changed the line and went to Tanimachi 4-chome.

After that, we walked to the Osaka History Museum.Inside the museum, we had to collect to get a paper as certificate to visit there from all floors. We started at highest one.

Next, we walked from the museum to the Osaka Castle. It's qu
ite a long way to walk, not as near as we saw in the m
ap. We stopped at the toilet in the castle area. I bought Quu for drinking. When we arrived we took an elevator to the fifth floor. Then, we went up by the stair to see the view and took a photo of しゃちほこ as our task. It's a fish on the roof of the castle.

We walked out of the castle to the next place. It's the Twin Tower. We went up to the highest floor. There were two restaurants on that floor.

Then, we had our lunch at about 2 p.m. at McDonald. I ordered McPork, ShakeShake Chicken, and McShake Vanilla. Each of them was 100 Yen.We lost during finding out the train station so we asked 4 Japanese until we reached the station.

We walked through JR Station and Gaze Department Store to Umeda Sky Building. After entering, we took an evevator to 3rd Floor. then,
took another to 173rd Floor. Using coupon to enter. It's very view over there. I
think it might be nice in the night, too.

I asked Japanese guy about the way to walk to HepFive department store. He also walked with us to HepFive. Thnkxx Osaka ppl!! Eventhough the woman at the info center
recommended us to go to HepFive since it's not expensive, but we found that most shop were quite expensive.

Then, we walked to Umeda Station
. We had our dinner at Okonomoyaki Shop.

Unagi-Don 2,000 Yen ^_^ .. My Next-time program
Finally, we went back to Namba Station to change a
train to Nankai Line back to Rinku Town Station. Since we couldn't catch the last shuttle bus, we had to walked back to Kansai Center. Although we're so tired, but we're fun with the experience we got.

Sleeping time on the local train Zzzz....
PS. Next time, I think I should go to Minami Area.. my friends told me there're many cheaper shops there.
