Day 1 - Asakusa Senjo-ji Temple, Nakamise Shopping St., Edo-Tokyo Museum, and the Imperial Palace
Today its a Tokyo Study Tour, in fact, its like a field trip. We started at the lobby of Kansai Center at 7.20 a.m. We took a bus to the Kansai International Airport. Kansai canter prepared us the breakfast bag. That was my first time taking the domestic flight. Its ANA. NH144 sat with Siew Fang and Miyamoto-san. In this trip, there are 18 AYF students, Miyamoto-san, and Isumimoto-sensei.
During the flight, I slept. I was so sad coz I missed a chance to see Fuji san. Anyway, I can see from my friend digital camera. We arrived the Haneda International Airport. The weather was a bit hot. There was a Japan Foundation bus waited for us.
First, we went to the Asakusa Temple. This is a famous Temple. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asakusa There is a big lantern at the entrance gate. Its a landmark of the temple. After that, we had lunch at the tempura restaurant.
Next, we went to the Edo-Tokyo Museum.
There, we saw the history of Tokyo, Shogun, Domyo, and many things. We can learn the history and culture of Edo-Tokyo through a variety of reference materials there. http://www.edo-tokyo-meseum.or.jp
Then, we went to the Imperial Palace. We took a photo ourside the palace but its in the area around the palace.
About 18.00, we arrived Urawa Center. It's Japan Foundation Japanese Language Institute, Urawa Center. It's located near Kita-Urawa Station. http://www.jpf.go.jp/e/urawa At 18.30, Miyamoto san showed us the way to walk to the station. After we knew the way, Me, P'Su Su, Big, Nwe, and Siew Fang had ramen as our dinner. Mine was Tofu Ramen. We walked back to Urawa Center. During the way back we bought some fruits. We found two Thai people at the center. P'Jinda and P'Tum. They're the lecturer in Thai universities. They're very kind. P'Jinda lent me a knife to cut MoMo and she also gave some desserts.
Day 2 - Panasonic Center, Aqua City, Toodai, Hyakunincho
I got up around 6.00 a.m. I walked around the center. There're Basketball, Valleyball, and Tennis Court.
There was a bit traffic jam. We arrived Panasonic Center around 11.00. It's at Ariake, Koto-ku. It's the technology showcase of Panasonic. We were not allowed to take a photo inside the building coz the products inside there were not launched into the market yet. It's Future Live Wall TV that have the sensor to command the control of everything on the wall. Panasonic also invented the technologies for Ecology. There's a house that use less energy than usual. It uses the concept of Land, Water, Wind, and Light to develop with the technology. http://panasonic.net/center/tokyo
Next was the University of Tokyo (東京大学) or Toodai. P'Su Su had a professor meeting there. The other AYF had a campus tour, guided by P'Gift (Thai Toodai master student senpai) and Mianmar Senpai. We entered the library. I think it's quiet like the library in my university. But I can feel the ora of fame there.
Then, we took a bus to Hyakunincho Southeast Asian Hawker Center. We had dinner with AYF seniors.Day 3 - Kamakura Kotokuin-Temple, Ueno, and Akihabara

In the past the statue sat indoors, but repeated diasters destroyed the building that housed it, thus it's the open-air statue as seen now.
