Siam Niramit : Journey to the Enchanted Kingdom of Siam

July 9, 2006 :: Siam Niramit

Today I went to Siam Niramit with my family. It is located near the Thailand Cultural Center on Tiamruammit Road. It's the world-class spectacular performance of Thailand's art and cultural heritage with 150 performers, over 500 costumes.

Before watching the display, we had dinner at the restaurant inside Siam Niramit. It's a Thai food buffet. There were salad, fried rice, jasmin rice, chicken in the mushroom cream, fried spring roll, bamboo soup, Tom Yum seafood, Nam Prik Oang, Pad Thai, Fried vegetable, ZeChuan fried beef, and more. The dessert were Chao Kuay ( Black jelly ) and Saku.

Then, we went to Thai village. The village was built as same as the rural village of each part of Thailand. At 7.30 p.m. we went into the theater. It's called Ratchada Theater. I was not allowed to take a photo during the show.

There were three shows : Journey Back to History : The Ancient Kingdom of Lanna, Journey Beyond Imagination : Blissful Heaven, and Journey Through Joyous Festivals : Loy Kratong.

It's very wonderful performance that you should watch once in your life.
